BoloMic is a private voice-to-text product in early access. This policy explains what we collect on bolomic.com, why we collect it, and how you can contact us about your data.
Who we are
For this policy, “BoloMic”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the team operating the BoloMic website and early-access waitlist. You can contact us at hello@bolomic.com.
Information we collect
When you interact with the website, we may collect:
- Email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Platform preference, such as Mac, Windows, or both.
- Pricing preference, when you select an “I’d pick this” pricing option.
- Optional feedback, if you answer the optional question about tools you cannot use at work.
- Submission metadata, such as the page URL and submission timestamp.
- Basic technical data that hosting and security providers normally process, such as IP address, browser information, logs, and request data.
How we use information
We use the information to:
- manage the BoloMic early-access waitlist;
- send launch updates and product-related emails;
- understand which pricing model and platform support users prefer;
- reply to messages or requests;
- protect, debug, and improve the website; and
- comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the website and waitlist, including:
- Netlify, which hosts the website and processes Netlify Forms submissions.
- Email services, if we use them to send launch updates or respond to you.
- Legal or safety recipients, if required to comply with law, protect rights, prevent abuse, or respond to lawful requests.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting and security provider (Netlify) may set essential cookies needed to serve and protect the site. If we later add privacy-friendly analytics, we will update this policy.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections and the safeguards offered by our service providers.
Retention
We keep waitlist and pricing-preference information for as long as needed to operate the early-access program, understand product demand, send launch updates, and comply with legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing of your personal information, where these rights apply. You can also withdraw consent for launch emails by contacting us at hello@bolomic.com. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect submissions. No internet service is perfectly secure, so please do not submit sensitive information through the optional feedback field.
Children
The website and waitlist are not intended for children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as BoloMic evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
